A dating service which utilizes both online personality matches and your cell phone.
The online site will download information about people in the area who are single and match your personality into your cell phone. When you are phiscally near someone who uses the service, is single, and matches your personality, your cell phone will alert you in a particular way. This allows for people to randomly meet others in a discreet and exciting way.

This is a really good idea. But it would require a few things. 1) That your cell phone have gps positioning capability (which will eventually be standard). And more importantly, 2) privacy considerations. You wouldn’t want this to turn into a stalkers favorite tool. If a personality match is found close to you, the service should first send you a message asking if it can release your name, number, or picture to the nearby match. After you give permission, then the fun can begin.
