Getting your tires balanced every other time you have them rotated is good practice. Tire or wheel balance is important for both vehicle stability and driver comfort. As a tire wears, its mass becomes unevenly distributed. During balancing, the tire is placed on a machine that tests for heavy spots caused by uneven wear. These spots can cause vibrations in your wheel, seat, or entire vehicle which can make your vehicle wobbly and difficult to handle. Balancing will ensure a smooth and safe ride.
